Package Protection Policy
Gorilla Dirt offers optional Shipping Insurance at checkout to help protect your order against unforeseen shipping issues once it leaves our facility.
What Shipping Insurance Covers
Shipping Insurance may cover the following situations:
- Lost Packages If your package is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier.
- Damaged Packages If your order arrives damaged due to shipping-related handling.
- Theft (Porch Piracy) If your package is marked as delivered but is stolen after delivery.
Claims Process
All insurance claims are subject to review and verification.
You may be required to:
- Provide photo evidence of damaged items and packaging
- Provide a police report for theft claims
- Provide proof that the package is missing or delayed
- Contact or visit your local carrier office to confirm the package is not being held or awaiting delivery
Failure to provide requested documentation may result in claim denial.
Replacement Policy
- Approved claims will result in a replacement shipment only
- Refunds are not provided for insured shipments
- Replacement orders are shipped using standard shipping methods
- Expedited shipping is not included on replacements
- Only one replacement will be issued per order
Address Accuracy Requirement
Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping address is correct at checkout.
Gorilla Dirt is not responsible for:
- Packages delivered to an incorrect address entered by the customer
- Orders lost due to incomplete or invalid address information
Insurance claims submitted for incorrect or incomplete addresses may be denied.
Important Notes
- Shipping Insurance does not guarantee delivery date
- Shipping Insurance does not cover buyer’s remorse or incorrect product selection
- Claims must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe of 7 days after delivery or confirmed loss
- Gorilla Dirt reserves the right to deny claims that show signs of abuse or fraud
