Description

Legendary Stripes. Serious Comfort. Built for the Long Way Around.

Some designs never go out of style. Neither does taking the road less traveled.

Meet the Toyota Racing Rover Expedition Series Puffy Blanket, a rugged, adventure blanket inspired by the legendary racing stripes that have become synonymous with off-road exploration, desert racing, and generations of Toyota adventure vehicles.

Whether you’re behind the wheel of a vintage Land Cruiser, exploring backcountry trails in your Tacoma, or setting up camp beside your 4Runner, this blanket brings classic off-road heritage and serious comfort along for the ride.

And it’s not just about looking good around camp.

With 200gsm synthetic insulation, double-sided peach-skin polyester, and a water-resistant finish, this is one seriously comfortable piece of adventure gear.

Classic design. Modern performance. Zero pavement required.

Built for Cold Nights, Long Roads, and Everything Between

Part of our premium Rover Expedition Series, this blanket takes everything you love about our original puffy blankets and turns up the comfort.

We’ve doubled the insulation to a substantial 200gsm synthetic fill, providing additional warmth and loft without sacrificing packability.

Unlike our sherpa-backed Rover blankets, this edition features ultra-soft peach-skin polyester on both sides. The result is a smooth, lightweight-feeling exterior that’s comfortable against your skin, easy to handle, and ready for whatever the trail throws your way.

The water-resistant treated fabric helps shed light moisture, while the insulated construction keeps you comfortable when temperatures drop.

It’s built for adventure, but we won’t judge if it spends a few nights on your couch.

Iconic Toyota Racing-Inspired Design

There’s something unmistakable about those classic racing stripes.

From vintage desert racing machines to modern overland builds, the legendary Toyota racing colorway represents decades of adventure, durability, and going places most vehicles never will.

Our Toyota Racing Stripes design celebrates that heritage with a bold, retro-inspired look that feels right at home beside a campfire, across the tailgate of your truck, or tucked inside your rooftop tent.

It’s a little old-school, a little rebellious, and entirely ready to get dirty.

The blanket measures approximately 52” x 75”, providing plenty of room to stay comfortable around camp, inside your rooftop tent, or on your next road trip.

What material is the blanket made from?

Both sides feature ultra-soft peach-skin polyester with a smooth, comfortable finish. Unlike our sherpa-backed Rover blankets, this version uses peach-skin polyester on both sides.

How warm is the Toyota Racing Stripes Rover Puffy Blanket?

The blanket features 200gsm synthetic insulation, providing twice the insulation of our standard puffy blankets. It’s designed to keep you comfortable during chilly camping trips, cool evenings, and outdoor adventures.

Is the blanket waterproof?

The blanket features a water-resistant polyester exterior that helps repel light moisture and splashes. It is not fully waterproof and should not be used as a substitute for waterproof camping equipment.

Does this blanket have a sherpa lining?

No. The Toyota Racing Stripes edition features soft peach-skin polyester on both sides instead of sherpa, providing a smooth, comfortable feel.

What are the loops around the blanket used for?

The blanket features six reinforced utility loops that allow you to secure it, hang it, or stake it down when needed. They’re especially useful around camp and during overlanding adventures.

Can I use this blanket inside a rooftop tent?

Absolutely! The Rover Puffy Blanket is an excellent addition to rooftop tents, ground tents, campers, RVs, and vehicle sleeping setups. Its generous dimensions and insulated construction make it ideal for outdoor sleeping arrangements.

Yes! The 200gsm insulation provides warmth during cooler conditions, while the double-sided peach-skin polyester makes it comfortable for a variety of outdoor adventures. For extreme cold, additional insulation or a properly rated sleeping bag may be necessary.

Is this an official Toyota product?

No. This is an independent Gorilla Dirt product featuring a racing-inspired design that celebrates classic Toyota off-road heritage. It is not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by Toyota.

What makes the Rover Expedition Series different from standard puffy blankets?
