Gear: Small skillet or pot, camp stove, wooden spoon
Ingredients:
- 2 apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: a handful of granola, chopped nuts, or a drizzle of maple syrup
Instructions:
- Heat the skillet over medium flame. Melt butter.
- Toss in apple slices. Stir to coat.
- Sprinkle in brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Stir and cook for 5–7 minutes until apples are soft and caramelized.
- Remove from heat. Top with granola, nuts, or syrup for crunch and sweetness.
- Eat straight from the skillet. No judgment.

Pre-slice apples and store with lemon juice in a sealed bag to prevent browning.
