Most orders ship via USPS within 1–5 business days. Phone cases and some other items ship from our U.S. partner; everything else ships from our HQ in Murphys, CA. If your order ships from both, you’ll get a split notice and separate tracking emails. Larger items like roof top tents and awnings ship by freight and may take longer. I’ve been wearing this band for about two weeks. First, I will say that the band is really cool looking. I love the design and the material. It is very comfortable and the band itself seems to be of good quality. I also like that the fit is micro-adjustable, so you can get the perfect fit.
However, the reason I am only giving it two-stars is because of the buckle. First off, the band didn’t come with any instructions for how to assemble and use the buckle. Not a huge deal, but it took some fiddling around to figure out how to set it up. Essentially, the buckle/band latches into place using magnets. The issue with this is that the magnets are not reliable or strong. Throughout the day, the buckle frequently comes open and the watch then flops off my wrist. Simple tasks such as taking off a sweatshirt or backpack have become annoying, as the slightest bit of pressure on this buckle will separate the magnets. I’ve even simply brushed the buckle on the back of a chair and it popped open. It frequently pops open when walking my dog if the leash slightly catches on it. This band stands no chance against my toddler-aged daughter, who accidentally unbuckles it while I play with her or change her diaper.
I have a very physically demanding job and I spend a lot of time recreating in the outdoors (hunting, fishing, hiking, overlanding), so I rely on my equipment to work properly. I can’t trust this band to stay-put during simple activities around the house. Thus, I cannot rely on it for the more adventurous activities in my life.
Although this band looks awesome, I cannot recommend it to anyone. Even if you lead a more sedentary lifestyle, you cannot rely on the buckle to stay clasped during the simplest of daily tasks.
