Spicy Campfire Ramen Bowl Recipe

Serves: 1 – 2

Gear: Small pot, chopsticks/spoon, camp stove


Ingredients:

  • 1 pack instant ramen (ditch the flavor packet)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup beef jerky or pre-cooked meat
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sriracha or chili sauce
  • Optional: green onion, sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Boil water, add ramen noodles and carrots.
  2. After 2 minutes, stir in soy sauce and sriracha.
  3. Crack the egg into the broth. Cover and cook 2–3 more minutes.
  4. Stir in jerky slices and top with extras.

Trail Tip:

Crack your egg into a sealed container before heading out for no-shell mess.
