Gear: Pot or deep skillet, camp stove, spoon
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb ground beef or bison
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can chili beans (15 oz)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (fire roasted preferred)
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: shredded cheese, green onion, tortilla chips
Instructions:
- Brown the meat in your pot. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
- Stir in beans, tomatoes, and spices.
- Simmer for 10–15 minutes to thicken and blend flavors.
- Serve hot with toppings of your choice.

Pre-mix your spices in a zip bag to save space and avoid bringing full containers.
