Campfire Cinnamon Apple Skillet Recipe

Campfire Cinnamon Apple Skillet Recipe

Serves: 2 – 3

Gear: Small skillet or pot, camp stove, wooden spoon

Ingredients:

  • 2 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: a handful of granola, chopped nuts, or a drizzle of maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Heat the skillet over medium flame. Melt butter.
  2. Toss in apple slices. Stir to coat.
  3. Sprinkle in brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Stir and cook for 5–7 minutes until apples are soft and caramelized.
  5. Remove from heat. Top with granola, nuts, or syrup for crunch and sweetness.
  6. Eat straight from the skillet. No judgment.

Trail Tip:

Pre-slice apples and store with lemon juice in a sealed bag to prevent browning.
