It holds 3.8 lb of propane, close to four single‑use green bottles, in a package that measures 8.5 by 8.5 by 11.8 inches, so it rides in a drawer, a cab footwell or a kayak hatch without stealing the space a 20 lb tank would. One fill costs about what one green bottle does.

The included 4‑foot hose plugs straight into one‑ and two‑burner camp stoves and anything else that takes a green bottle, so there’s nothing extra to buy before dinner. Rubber edging protects the tank and whatever it’s packed against, and the padded case carries it like a lunchbox.
