Description
The original FireCan is calibrated for one thing: heat you can see. The Deluxe keeps that and adds a second, separate burner built for cooking, so the same 12‑by‑6‑inch can that warms the tailgate at night sears burgers at dinner.
Fire pit mode is the FireCan you know: propane flame through mesh sides, raised off the ground on folding legs, no wood, no smoke, no sparks, the right answer during summer burn bans. Switch to grill mode and you drop in the stainless steel flame tray and grill insert, dial the temperature knob, and cook over even heat with a grease tray underneath catching the mess. Breakfast on a tailgate, dogs at the trailhead, a real sear on a beach with no fire ring.
The body and lid are stainless steel rather than the powder‑coated steel of the original, so it shrugs off grease, salt air and the back of a truck. It packs the same: legs fold flat, lid covers the burners, silicone handles stay cool. The 5‑foot hose has a tool‑free quick‑release at the can and a QCC1 fitting at the tank, so it runs off a 20 lb BBQ tank at home or a 5 lb Gas Growler on the road.

Good to know
Propane only, never wood or solid fuel. Fire pit rocks or fire glass rated for high heat are fine in fire‑pit mode; take them out before grilling. If you only want flame and heat, the original FireCan is $100 less and a pound lighter.
