Imagine a crisp night under the stars, the air cool and fresh. You zip yourself into the cocoon of warmth that is our new 20-degree sleeping bag. This isn’t just any sleeping bag—it’s designed with a sherpa-lined hood that cradles your head in cozy softness, making you feel as if you’re resting on a cloud.

The Overland 20ºF Sleeping Bag – First Edition Firebrush Camo mummy shape hugs your body, ensuring maximum heat retention while allowing you to move comfortably. Crafted with precision and passion, this sleeping bag promises unparalleled warmth and comfort, transforming every camping trip into a luxurious retreat.

This new Overland 20ºF Sleeping Bag – First Edition Firebrush Camo is a mummy-style bag for warmth, but not too constricting with a 20″ wide footbed and a generous 33″ at the shoulders, accommodating most adults. Both sides zip down with reliable YKK zippers to give yourself a more bed-like experience rather than your typical sleeping bag where one side is always up. We used synthetic fill to avoid customer allergy issues. And finally, the elephant in the room, the sherpa hood.

The Sherpa idea came up and we thought, “This could work,” and decided to test one design out with the Sherpa-lined hood in it? We got the sample and wow, the comfort level increased 10-fold. Not only did the sherpa add additional warmth in cold temps around our heads, but it added a level of home-bed comfort that you don’t get in your typical sleeping bag. It is hard to describe in words, but we were instantly sold and decided to launch this entire Overland series with Sherpa in the hood. The Sherpa hood can be zipped off as well. We plan to launch individual hoods in the future.

Temperature rating

The temperature rating should be considered a guideline as everyone sleeps differently, some hotter, some colder. We tested these sleeping bags at a low temperature of 10ºF and a high temperature of 35ºF. We found the optimal comfort for most testers to be around 15ºF to 25ºF. This temperature rating was based on wearing a base layer of shorts and a tee and sleeping on a pad or RTT.

**Please note that we cannot control unforeseen issues such as weather or other natural or unnatural issues that could delay shipping. Assuming there are no issues, we will ship these out on December 1, 2024, though depending on how many orders we receive, it could take us a week to get all of the orders out. If we are able to do it sooner, we will. If there is a delay, we will notify you via email.

*Pre-Order Details

This is a pre-order to help us fund and get these made. Our goal is to get 100 or more pre-orders. If we hit 100, you will receive a sleeping bag. The bag design will look as shown in the photos, though the stuck sack design may vary in the final product (we are still looking at new designs for the compression stuff sack).

**Release dates

The pre-orders themselves end on March 30th, 2025. If we receive enough orders, your payment method will be charged your order amount. Once pre-orders are charged and finalized, these sleeping bags will go into production. We expect to then be able to start shipping on May 30th, 2025. If there are any unforeseen issues with the delivery date, we will let you know. We cannot foresee unknown delays such as weather, carrier issues, or other manufacturing issues that may arise. But so far, all of our funded pre-orders have shipped and been delivered.
